OriRack is a minimalist, drum rack that lets you turn your existing drums into a compact, portable kit—without sacrificing the look, feel and sound of a traditional setup.The challenge was to refine a rack with a foldable layout to achieve a precise and reliable folding motion that transitions from a folded, nested & portable framework into functional drum rack that retains the aesthetic of a tradition kit - comprising a complex 3D design.The result is ORIRACK™ : a folding drum rack where structure, motion, beauty and convenience come together.The ORIRACK™ is adjustable to handle different size drums for different playing situations, enabling drummers to build flexible, portable sets - using the drums they already own.Built from lightweight aluminum, the rack folds into a small, nested form for easy storage and transport. It sets up in about 20 seconds, and with your drums attached, you’re ready to play in around five minutes.The integrated holders support a 10”–14” snare and either a 14” tom or 16” floor tom as the bass drum. Standard clamps let you mount a tom, crash/ride, and hi-hat, creating a streamlined 3-piece kit from the drums you already own.When you’re finished, simply remove the drums and fold the rack—with the snare and bass holders still attached—into a cajon-sized bag. No loose parts, no complicated teardown—just true grab-and-go portability.

Same compact design and quick deployment - this layout includes a 14" snare, 16" floor‑tom‑bass, hi‑hat, 14" tom, and crash/ride. It retains the convenience of a small setup but takes larger drums for a fuller sound.

Built by hand, the OriRack was developed through a hands-on prototyping and engineering process from the ground up, allowing us to test the folding structure, refine the hinge layout, and understand every detail of the framework.
